Good Chinese food is quite hard to come across in my experience, but this restaurant had the cuisine down to a T. A telling sign of a good restaurant is when the people of the cuisine go to that eatery. On arrival, I was surrounded by Chinese people and a few other ethnic groups, which made me feel right at ease and I looked forward to my food even more.
Just so you are aware, the best place to park, is the Bang Bang food hall also known as Bang Bang Oriental. Golden Dragon can’t be seen from the main road, so you need to go into the food court in order to see the restaurant.
The food was cooked well, menu extensive, which included all the classic Chinese food that us Brits like.
For the review I had:
For starter: Quarter duck
Pork ribs
Mains: Chilli shredded beef Sweet and sour chicken Egg fried rice Fried seafood noodles
Pak Choi
Accompanied by a Chinese Tea.
The restaurant is quite a big one, which had me surprised when the food came out piping hot in no time at all. A casual, decently-priced Chinese restaurant can be found at Golden Dragon, Colindale – we recommend!
