2 years after relinquishing control of the Jimmy Choo Empire that she helped build from scratch; Tamara Mellon is ready to dip her toe back into the fashion industry. As a woman who oozes glamour and glitz, it seems only natural that Mellon is set to launch a new luxury lifestyle brand this December.

The eponymous label promises to offer solutions for the workingwoman and is designed to reflect the 24/7 lifestyles that Tamara has become known for. After debuting the collection in New York’s Pace Gallery this week, Tamara plans to offer the collection online tamaramellon.com before opening up two stand-alone stores by late 2014. And Ms Mellon’s ambitions don’t stop there. While most of us don’t even know what we’re going to eat for dinner, Tamara has revealed her eventual goal is to expand to 60 international boutiques with additional fragrance, sunglasses and cosmetic lines, all within the next five years. Talk about a five-year plan!

With prices ranging anywhere from £190, for a cashmere tee, to £2,940 for a printed trench, there’s sure to be something to attract all different types of high end buyers all hoping to replicate Tamara’s luxury lifestyle.
