The Autumn/Winter 2013 Campaigns have been released this week and it looks like its Kate Vs Cara in the battle for the title of top model, with both the supermodels featuring in not one but two stunning campaigns this season.
Model of the moment Cara kicked off the competition with her recently revealed campaign for Saint Laurent, in which she smoulders in their lux grunge collection, looking every bit the 90s Rock and Roll groupie.
In Cara’s second campaign of the season, this time for fashion giant Mulberry, the model is joined in their indoor forest by a flock of owls and some very stylish handbags, including an emerald green Alexa.
But Kate’s not ready to give up her supermodel crown just yet. The star features in two campaigns her, proving that Cara won’t be able to knock her off her supermodel perch anytime soon.
Both of Kate’s campaigns, one for Versace and the other for Stuart Weitzman, feature a nearly naked Moss with her dignity is preserved only by handbags or yeti coats in the Versace ads. Similarly, the Stuart Weitzman campaigns feature Kate showing off her envious body yet again in Gladiator sandals and a shirt.
In other campaign news, original supermodel Christy Turlinglton stars alongside Amanda Murphy, Kristine Froseth and Freja Beh for Prada, whilst the Givenchy campaigns features Les Miserables star Amanda Seyfried along with Carine and Julia Roitfeld.
So, who wins the battle of Autumn/ Winter 2013 Campaigns? I’d have to say this round goes to Cara, but I’m looking forward to the possibility of round two next season!
