Ella Henderson looks set to put the past behind her as she is already set to release her single called Ghost, the 18 year-old singer outdid Virgin Media’s Tips for 2014 list, beating off rival BRITs nominee from Rudimental Vocalist.
Ella co – wrote her single with One Republic front man Ryan Tedder.
Tedder has written smash hits such as Leona Lewis’ Bleeding love and Ellie Goulding’s Burn, meaning that Ella’s song will be blessed with his Midas touch.
Ella was signed to recording label Syco immediately after being kicked of the X Factor in 2012, however. Unlike past rivals who have rush released an album only to vanish without a trace, Henderson seems to have taken her time to create what will hopefully be an amazing track, she has also revealed she is working on a music video.
Ella tweeted “I’m currently in New Orleans where I’m shooting the video for my First Single. Ella will release her album later this year, after finishing on the X-factor.”
The star confirmed that her label boss Simon Cowell is really happy with her new single.
