Here at The Streets we love a good designer collaboration! After all, two designers have to be better than one right? Luckily, it seems like Mary Katrantzou is a woman after our own heart! In the past Mary has already teamed up with Longchamp and Current/Elliot and has designed no less than three diffusion lines for high street hero Topshop. These collaborations brought Mary’s signature digital prints to different mediums and lower price points. But, It appears Mary has her sights set on further world domination as she now hopes to conquer the world of beauty with her latest collaboration.

Although Mary must have had her pick of beauty brands to choose from, she eventually opted to work with Maria Hatzisetefanis, founder of Rodial Skincare.

Mary explained her decision claiming ‘Rodial are the ultimate iconic beauty brand and this candle will be perfect for beauty fanatics and fashionistas everywhere”. Equally, Maria is a self-confessed lover of Mary’s prints (she even wore one of her designs to the press launch!) and as a result a natural partnership was formed between the two designers. Together Mary and Maria have created a limited edition scented candle inspired by Mary’s Nature Vs Nurture collection and featuring fresh citrus top notes complemented by a fruity and floral base.

Sounds amazing! The Mary Katrantzou Rodial Candle is for sale exclusively at Space NK before hitting the shelves at Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Harrods. The candle is limited edition, so be sure to hurry down before stocks run out!
