L’OCCITANE has launched their three new masks that are inspired by ingredients from Provence! The three new masks are the Radiance Scrub, the Soothing mask, and the Purifying mask all retailing at £28 for a 75ml pot. At Amor, we were lucky enough to try these new products to provide our readers with our verdict. The masks come in glass jars with a metal lid and a plastic seal to protect the product before purchase. The packaging of these masks relay a luxurious image to be consumer, you’re made to feel engrossed by the product and special for having it.
Let’s begin with the Radiance Scrub. The radiance scrub contains natural fruit acids that work to exfoliate the skin; it has a jam-like texture and sloughs away any dead cells leaving your skin looking radiant and vibrant. The best part of the product for me was the smell; it is sweet and succulent with its mandarin/orange scent.
The second mask is the soothing mask; the soothing mask contains calcium and magnesium which are minerals that are highly essential for the skin to function at its best. The purpose of this product is to exfoliate the skin and to instantly refresh your face.
The purifying mask of the third mask of the new L’OCCITANE range is designed to instantly absorb any excess sebum and gently exfoliates the skin. This product has a matte clay-like texture and smells incredibly clean.
Out of all of these products, my personal favourite has to be the L’OCCITANE Radiance Scrub due to its beautiful scent and the smoothness it leaves your skin after use. Overall, I would highly recommend these new products that are now available. They leave your skin feeling nourished and vibrant from the comfort of your own home and for £28 you can’t go wrong!
That doesn’t stop there for L’OCCITANE’s launch of products; they’re also launching new lip products too! These new products are also inspired by fresh ingredients from Provence! Think good-enough-to-eat Lip Scrubs, lip-smacking Lip Balms and mouth-watering Lipsticks.
Step one to prepping for luscious lips is the Delicious Lip Scrub retailing for £14. There are three different lip scrubs; marmalade kiss, raspberry crush, and fabulous fig. The lip scrubs should be applied to dry lips and massaged gently, then rinsed off with warm water for maximum results.
Step two is to moisturise with the 3-in-1 multi-balm and lip perfector, these retail for £20 each. These multi-balm’s act as a primer for the lips and are enriched with Vitamin E. There are 5 different multi-balm’s; delicious, carrot fizz, miss grenadine, pink calisson, gimme mauve. All the balms deliver hydration, to keep lips feeling exquisitely soft.
The final step is step three – dress up! L’OCCITANE have released a fruity lipstick range consisting of 8 brand new shades; nude infusion, pink biscotin, red-y to play, provence sunset, gor-juice pomelo, plum plum girl, flamingo kiss, and provence calling. All lipsticks retail for an impressive £18 – perfect shades for the upcoming summer!
