Radiant London opens its doors to the first of their two salons in the heart of Bermondsey to the general public tomorrow, on Tuesday, 2nd March 2016. Last week the brand marked this event with a launch party, allowing press and bloggers a glimpse into what it has to offer.
The event began with the opening of their in-house cocktail bar (a new complimentary service offered to all clients receiving a hair treatment) serving a selection of soft and alcoholic beverages. The night saw guests enjoying services from the salon including a full wig bar, braid bar and complimentary shellac, alongside the Lash Bar hosted by Demure Lashes.
Refreshments were provided by First Chefs LTD, serving an assortment of Caribbean inspired canapés; including Jerk Chicken Sushi, Ital Rundown Spring Rolls, Curry Goat with Rice & Peas shots and Ackee & Saltfish money bags.
Radiant London is known for both their colouring techniques and flexible natural weave services. Owner Rita Balogun takes pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences. She states, “Our aim has always been to take the client experience to a new level… Our goal is to create a home away from home experience, ensuring every client receives star treatment. By creating a warm atmosphere our customers are catered to in more ways than one and can just sit back and indulge in the all inclusive Radiant experience.”
The lavish Bermondsey salon is also home to the Ultramodern Radiant Virtual Mirror, compact with built-in 2000 Lumen lighting. A special app allows customers’ to take salon selfies, instantly snapping their new hairdos and uploading them to social media.
Nominated for Styling Team of the Year Nominee in the Black Beauty/Sensational Awards 2014 as well as the Mizani Catwalk Category Nominee L’Oreal Professional Awards 2014, Radiant London continues to make an impression in the British hair industry. Celebrity clientele include Angellica Bell, Adelayo Adedayo, Laura Mvula Jessica Plummer, AJ Odudu and Chrisspy.
The Croydon branch will house a live DJ in store on Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s and is set to launch later in March. Be sure to check out the Radiant London app for more information!
