Fresh from releasing the audio stream for ‘Dive’ last month to critical acclaim and support from the likes of the MOBO Awards, London R&B/ soul singer, songwriter and producer Niké Jemiyo has unveiled the exciting new video for her single ‘Dive’, which is taken from her forthcoming Hearts Grow EP, due to be released on March 16.

Directed by Efe Andre (Reignwolf, Rachel Kerr), the visuals portray the raw emotion and breadth of Niké Jemiyo’s orchestral-led ballad. The video for ‘Dive’, shot on location at an ocean front, not only further opens up the song’s evocative feel and Jemiyo’s haunting vocals, but also brings to life the struggle portrayed in the song lyrics, taking its cue from John Coltrane’s iconic ‘Blue Train’ album cover.

With her Hearts Grow EP now less than a month away and available to pre-order now, Niké Jemiyo has also just confirmed a string of London gigs in the lead up to her EP release, including a February 19 date at Camden’s Lockside Lounge and a gig with PopRevue! on March 6 at Freedom in Soho. Enjoy her visuals for ‘Dive’ below.
