Raf Simons for Dior, Isabel Marant, Monki, Puma and John Lewis are all among key nominees who have been shortlisted for WGSN Global Fashion Awards in the fashion design and retail categories.

WGSN, who lead on trend forecasting, have been searching for those businesses and individuals who push the boundaries of fashion all over the world, including countries such as Hong Kong, France, India, Brazil, the US, UK and many more.

After numerous debates, the shortlist was revealed by The Industry’s Lauretta Roberts (director of the event) and platinum-selling musical style icon, Kate Nash at a glamorous party at St Martins Lane.

Lauretta said: “This is a very strong shortlist which includes some of the world’s most exciting talent. We have representatives from every continent and had the highest number of entries in the event’s four-year history,”

A judging panel made up of an international selection of fashion industry experts compiled the shortlist. Bloggers, designers, stylists and buying directors were out in full force on the panel including editor-in-chief of ‘Stylenoir’ James Joseph, Eric Jennings of Saks Fifth Avenue, photographer, Rankin and more.

The winners will be announced on October 30 at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum. Who will you be rooting for?
