What a night!! From start to finish Boom Box showcase was a night to remember, it was a 3 in one event you had socialising, a mini rave with bashment, house and old school slow jams and last but not least the showcase of raw up and coming talent!!
There was a lot of artists showcasing their talents last night, but my 3 favourite had to be Cardan Jayy who done a wicked cover of Rihanna ‘Cockiness’ I have never heard a cover of this track but he absolutely smashed it. He also sang an original song written by Leon Jacques ‘All Seeing Eye’ which had excellent lyrical content without a doubt.
A.L. is such a unique, talented young lady and I finally got to see her perform live. She brought her old school vibes and her distinctive sound to Boom Box! Performing her latest single ‘Break it Down’. The rendition she done of this track live was AMAZING (I’m not even exaggerating) She is seriously an original artist, watch out!!
Last but by no means least Jordan King (the headline act of this event) ended the night on a high. His performance was he definitely got the crowd hyped with his tune ‘Hood Love’ which he is most famous for. He also performed ‘Futuristic’ which features Paigey Cakey this is his latest track, if you haven’t heard it where have you been?? Watch out for Jordan King this 2013!!
