Deal With D.V. Networking Event
Leanne Higgins is the founder of Deal with D.V. A young survivor of domestic violence, Leanne strongly believes that youth need more support with this issue, in particular teenagers aged 13-19. In the first instance, the aim is for them to gain an understanding of what is considered to be a healthy relationship. Deal with D.V. is a prevention, intervention and transitional service. The overall aim is to empower and help victims deal with such abuse – to become a survivor. Although fairly new, Deal with D.V. is proving to be successful!
The networking event for professionals within various fields was held at Cambridge House in Southwark, South London on 27th June 2013 and saw many attend to learn more about the company as well as utilise the services Leanne provides. Refreshments were provided and an informative slide slow presentation was delivered by Leanne herself. More details about Deal with D.V. can be found via the website –
