A new study analysing some of the most popular trainers of 2018-19, has found the top brands and most valuable sneakers on the market.
The below graph illustrates the retail price, plus the amount you can sell at giving you a percentage in how much the trainer has gone up in value. This is something to look into, perhaps buying and selling trainers is the new investment opportunity that requires small start up costs we all need?

- Nike: Jordan – The Jordan 1 Retro High Off-White University Blue, retailed at £148 ($190), however, at resale, they increased 689% peaking at £1,022 ($1,500).
- Adidas: Yeezy – The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Static Reflective sneakers had a retail price of £172 ($220) and showed a 243% increase that peaked at £589 ($755).
- Converse Chuck Taylor: Off-White – These limited edition Off-White Converse sneakers saw a 146% increase when they peaked from £101 ($130) to £249 ($320). Off-White have been a brilliant collaborator for both Nike and Converse – seeing that both of their collaborations saw an increase in resale value.
