The 1st year anniversary of Rate Me Plz is today!! Lat night’s event celebrated 1 year of Rate Me Plz at Queen of Hoxton. From start to finish it was first class entertainment. Remel London excelled herself in every way. The event wasn’t just to showcase talent but to get everyone to network and take their passion to the next level.
Guest speakers at the event were Ras Kwame (Choice fm DJ) and Ben Scarr (A&R for Island Records). Both of these talented individuals gave the audience guidance, of ways to enter into the music industry as well as how to stay in the industry. They kept it real and Ras definitely got the crowd laughing with the way he kept it 100.
There were so many amazingly talented artists performing on the night, who were chosen by the Rate Me Plz podcast, and believe me there was a reason for each act being selected. They go by the names of:

We cannot forget the open mic section of the event, where runner up, Mr Sebastian Blake killed it with his MJ vibe and his guitar and of course Kaniva the champion of the night he smashed it, his rapping techniques was just remarkable. You will definitely be hearing more from them in the near future!!
I would love to end by shouting out Remel London for being an inspiration for young women trying to make it in the industry, she has come a long way and is always determined to do more.
