Thick, curly and kinky natural hair.

Being natural definitely comes with its ups and downs but if you are thinking about going natural, I thought I’d give you some advice…
…Don’t do it!
First of all, there’s nothing you can do with it because it’s not diverse at all. Braids and weaves are not compatible with the curls and even if you somehow manage to ‘make it work’, it takes way too long.
Natural hair is just not worth it since you’ll never learn what your hair does and doesn’t like and never eventually come up with a routine that works for you and your hair.
You’ll more often be left with a fuzzy ball of knots on top of your head everyday which you’ll never be able to comb it out, brush it or even slick it down. It’s just a nightmare from beginning to end.
It’s not like there are plenty of products out there to make natural hair care more simple. No oils, plant extracts, creams or mousses are aimed at natural hair because it has been decided there is nothing that will work.
The universal hatred for natural kinks means that hairdressers will charge you double if not triple the normal amount to do your hair and if you try to do it yourself you will have to use a lot more products than those with straight hair because of the volume.
On top of this, men really hate women with natural hair.
The confidence you have to be able to absolutely slay the hair that you were born with frightens them, they are under the impression that you’re automatically going to be more masculine and bossy so going natural could mean you end up single and alone forever.
So save yourself time and money, don’t stop using potentially harmful chemicals in your hair. Who cares as long as it makes your hair more manageable?
