This is the first London opening from successful healthy Parisian fast food restaurant, that currently has 24 sites in Paris. They serve a selection of salads, sandwiches, soups and hot dishes daily until 6pm. All products are hand-made and prepared daily, from raw ingredients in the Cojean kitchen.
They recently lauched three new Superfood juices and I got to try one. I went for the Super Green, which was super tasty and filling. It had a blend of avocado, cucumber, moringa, kiwi, apple and chia seeds.
I also picked up the chicken and pesto rosso tabbouleh salad, which consisted of organic bulgur, marinated chicken fillet with pesto rosso, tomato, red onion, parsley, basil, coriander, lemon juice and olive oil. It tasted fresh and was a fulfilling lunch with all it’s mix of flavours.
Cojean is here to rival current healthy food chains in the UK, with a good range of food to choose from and organic smoothies, topped off with its pleasant pastel interior. You feel much more like you’re in a fancy canteen than a fast food establishment. The price point is relatively priced, as you can grab a salad pot and smoothie for less than a tenner.
Ideal for: A vegetarian, gluten and dairy free organic breakfast or lunch.
