With brands like River Island, Mac and fashion giant Balmain all fighting for a piece of her, style queen Rihanna is soon set to pick up a gong from the Council of Fashion Designers after being hailed the worlds brand new international Fashion Icon.
Rihanna always makes the tabloids with her impeccable make-up and fashion sense to rival the celebrity fashion pack consisting of Beyonce and catwalk model Miranda Kerr, who always seem to get it right when it comes to trends that are hot off the catwalk. RiRi will join the likes of modelling sensation Kate Moss and all round superstar, Lady Gaga who have also been awarded the same title in recent years.
It’s fair to say that Rihanna is a style chamaeleon and her taste has only got better since working closely with designers from Chanel to Georgio Armani, which has no doubt seen her clinch the prestigious award. The annual awards ceremony will take place on on June 2, at the Lincoln Centre’s Alice Tully Hall in New York. And in true fashionista style, the girls at AMOR can’t wait to see what outfit she’ll be rocking!
