The biggest African fashion show is hitting the streets of London on the 9th and 10th of August! Taking centre stage at the Freemason’s hall. Make sure you save the date for this spectacular once a year event showcasing all of our favourite African designers in one venue.
Since 2011 AFWL has been going from strength to strength, this year we can expect designers from Ghana, Morocco, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Benim, Congo, South Africa and many more. What we love about AFWL is that the show pays homage to all of Africa as oppose to just Western Africa as a lot of other African inspired events may do.
Each year we are also surprised with a guest musician and have never been disappointed. This year promises to do the same, with a number of designers gracing their presence a long with business talks, a luxury and premium boutique area, an African Souk and many more surprises to come. Africa Fashion week has become more than just a fashion show, it’s now a chance to experience African culture in one venue.
