For some of us, false eyelashes are not a necessity. However, for many others, we are addicted. Whether you get your lashes done professionally, or you have a drawer full of strip lashes for every occasion – some of us spend a lot money on our lashes! Especially for students, our monthly lash expenditure nearly equates to a weeks food shop, or possibly more!
Here are a few brands that might just lower your spend, and leave you pleasantly suprised. As long as you pick the right style for your eye shape and have a good glue, we recommend Eylure Lash Adhesive or Duo, you can get some bargain lashes that you will not only love but won’t have to break the bank over.
Popular brands such as Eylure and Ardell that you would usually just run into a drugstore for are great, but with the makeup industry expanding day by day, there are so many more options that are worth discussing.
Primark
Primark is often my first point of call, they have got such a wide range with Soso lashes, collaborations, and their own basic range. Their prices start from £1 for your basic everyday style to £5 with more thicker, fuller faux mink style lashes!
GWA (Girls With Attitude)
Another brand that is definitely worth a mention is GWA (Girls with Attitude), these are also sold in Primark but I stumbled across them in Savers – the best place to get all your beauty for a reduced price! They have pretty much the full range for a cheaper price (£2.99). These are probably my favourite affordable lashes as they don’t have that plastic look that many cheaper lashes can have.
Finally Glamify Beauty a brand which is sold primarily online. They are always doing offers where you can get 3 pairs for £15 – which is a deal worth doing! They do faux mink, individual, wispy and natural looking!
I have found them to be quite comparable to Tatti Lashes with them having similar styles to TL3 and TL4, so if you are looking for quite full lashes, Glamify is the one. The rose gold packaging is also very appealing and will look perfect on your dressing table or in your makeup kit.
Next time you need some new lashes, check out some of these more affordable brands – you might just find a new favourite.
