April Jackson, entrepreneur and former Miss Jamaica Universe, brings Caribbean culture to the comfort of your living room.

Jackson is the ambassador and host of CaribBe TV which is set to launch in the UK on the 29th September and is available for those wishing to view live streams and on demand programmes.

Speaking at the launch of CaribBe TV, Jackson says “The timing for CaribBe TV is perfect as Caribbean culture continues to affect the world, be it through music, sports, entertainment and food.”

The multimedia platform will cover news, sports, special events, lifestyle, music and entertainment, comedy and cultural / educational programmes.

The Caribbean / West Indian community accounts for 12% of the overall population; they are also one of the most settled communities in the UK, predominantly in the South East and North London areas.

It is also to be noted that while the above remains a growing figure, there is still a distinct lack of TV broadcasting available from the Caribbean. CaribBe TV aims to change this!
