There are so many fake tan brands on the market that it is seemingly impossible to know where to start. I know there are the extremely popular brands such as Bondi Sands, St Tropez, Filter by Molly Mae. But, if you’re wanting to try something new for a fraction of the price, then look no further – we’ve got you covered!
We have gathered a small selection of fake tan brands that have been tried and tested by ourselves so we can give you the best products on the market. So, here they are:
Let’s start off with my personal favourite of them all, Watermans. Watermans, is a brand that are pioneers in the beauty industry for producing hair-growth products have added three new products to their must-have professional collection.
Introducing, BROWNED OFF Fake Tan Products. BROWNED OFF, a new exclusive premium fake tan range that features key ingredients like Aloe Vera & Vitamin E. This product will leave you with the best looking tan. With no biscuit after smell (which for me is the worst), and formulated only with natural DHA, Watermans new tan collection will leave you with natural looking skin.
Here are some more perks to using Watermans:
- Topical coconut smell that will leave your skin looking and smelling the best after one application.
- Hydrates and nourishes your skin.
- Vegan Friendly, does not contain any animal ingredients or animal-derived ingredients.
- Contains Vitamin E, which is good for your skin and is a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce UV damage.
- Eco-friendly packaging.
- Natural DHA which is derived from sugarcane which helps produce a golden-brown colour.
- Long-lasting and gives you a radiant glow.
- Streak-free, enabling you to get a sun-kissed finish.
If tanning mousses aren’t for you, then perhaps a gradual tan would be better suited. One of my favourite brands for gradual moisturisers is Cocoa Brown. Cocoa Brown are an affordable brand with most of their products priced from just £5.99!
Cocoa Brown Gentle Bronze Gradual Tan is the latest innovative self-tanning product from Marissa Carter, giving you beautifully hydrated, bronzed skin every day. Apply Cocoa Brown Gentle Bronze as you would body moisturiser, ensuring that it is well rubbed into your skin.
The drying time for this product is super quick so you don’t have to spend ages waiting for your body to dry so you can get dressed. This dries in around 10 minutes then you’re free to go about your day.
Whilst we’re on the subject of gradual tanning moisturisers, another holy grail product I like to use is Dove Visible Glow Gradual Self Tan. I know Dove are renowned for their skincare and haircare products but did you know they did tanning products? This product by Dove is simply incredible for the small price point.
I like to use this product after I’ve been on holiday or fake tanned to prolong the bronzed appearance of my skin. I feel it helps make my tan last longer and less patchy as I’m simultaneously moisturising my skin too as well as keeping the tan.
Do you have any other holy grail products for tanning? If so, we’d love to hear your opinions on our socials:
