MUSIC – Jareth’s “Long Way”
If you haven’t already heard of Singer/Songwriter Jareth from London then you’re definitely missing out. Soul singer Jareth has a very distinctive style, you can recognise her vocals immediately on any track, her sound is very smooth but at the same time very Powerful! With music influences such as Amy Winehouse, Jill Scott and Lauren Hill, it’s no wonder Jareth’s music makes such easy listening.
Her latest single “Long Way” is captivating and has a very uplifting essence. After listening to the song, I couldn’t get the words from the chorus out of my head! Jareth’s song writing skills go further than her own music, having penned for the likes of Cheryl Cole, and also collaborating with artists such as Bashy, Lioness, Chris Lake and last year her vocals were even heard on Roberto Cavalli’s 2012 worldwide fragrance campaign! Awesome right!? Steadily building her foundation in the UK music industry, from starting her music debut in 2011, I’d say Jareth has definitely come a long way…
