The Met Ball, which, is hosted by Anna Wintour and this year’s honorary chair, Beyonce! Will be held on May 9th. According to the Metropolitan Museum of Arts:
“The exhibition, will examine punk’s impact on high fashion from the movement’s birth in the 1970s through its continuing influence today.”
Luxury retail brand Moda Operandi are celebrating the Met Ball theme ‘Punk: Chaos to Couture’ with a collection of exclusive, limited edition pieces by designer names.
The designers, which include Balmain, Givenchy and Vivienne Westwood, will play homage to the Punk theme. Think leather, studs, tartan and lots and lots of attitude!
