Friday night saw the Bajan beaut Rihanna perform at the Wembley stadium for her Anti World Tour.

The stadium wasn’t the best location to have the concert in. Wembley is too big resulting in many seats being vacant and Rihanna appearing as small as an ant. The event saw 2 screens either side of the stage, enlarging the songstress and her dance moves.

The sex icon first came on stage sporting her to-die-for beige Giuseppe Zanotti custom chap boots. I am in love with them! I neeeeed!!!

Rihanna had a few hunky double-jointed male dancers who took over the stage a few times. Their unnatural dance moves had the audience in disbelief! Bad Gal Rih Rih performed her classics such as ‘Umbrella’, ‘Run This Town’, ‘Diamonds’ and ‘Stay’ alongside her hits from her latest (and my personal favourite) ‘Anti’ album such as ‘ Sex With Me’, ‘Work’, ‘Kiss it Better’ and ‘Love on The Brain’.

We had level 1 freeflow tickets which allowed us to either stand ground level or take seats – the perfect combo, as the doors opened at 4pm and Rihanna didn’t come on till after 9. I think the promoters were a little ambitious with this one; the capacity of Wembley stadium is 90,000 people! That number is an astronomical amount of tickets that needed to be sold… Not to mention, the lack of promotion of the concert. I saw a few adverts in the newspapers but there was very little promo on the radio stations. Having cancelled the Cardiff show, and expecting her Welsh fans to travel over to London to see the songstress is demanding to say the least, however there were a few pockets of Welsh Rihanna Navy fans dotted around the concert.

Rihanna did comment on performing in such a big venue. I think she was taken aback by how big the stadium is and the amount of people that came to see her.

Rihanna’s vocals just keep getting better and better, and she still remains the BADDEST!!!
