After eating at Cicchetti, it is easy for me to label the vibrant spot as one of the best Italian restaurants in London.
With an interesting selection of Italianate tapas-style dishes, diners are guaranteed to go home feeling well-fed with delicious authentic Italian food, and superbly catered to, by the friendly attentive staff, making a meal at Cicchetti a real treat and a date to remember.
For our starters we had the Buffalo Mozzarella Salad and Zucchine Fritti which are courgette sticks.
We then ordered the Pollo Parmigiana Pizza, which is a smoked chicken and cheese topping, Tagliolino Venezia alle Vongole – a spaghetti dish served with baby clams, white wine, garlic and chilli, the Paccheri Pasta – a large tubed-pasta served with Tuscan pork sausage and Calabrian chilli, Gnocchi which was served with a cheese fondue and truffles.
With the food set up as tapas-style dishes, we recommend three dishes per person.
Each season, Cicchetti launches an expertly crafted menu, offering new creations featuring alongside the restaurant’s long-standing classics and established favourites.
The restaurant is beautifully presented, from the waiters’ uniforms to the fresh cut flowers and gold tables.
The service was impeccable, the food is delicious authentic Italian food, a buzzing atmosphere was presented, the menu is reasonably priced for a restaurant of that quality, Cicchetti is hard to fault… We can’t wait to go back!
