2013-03-26-20-12-52-300x200-5837731(LEFT – THE SATURDAYS) vInspired, an organisation dedicated to recognising and celebrating the efforts of young volunteers, held their anual award ceremony on the 26th March. It was hosted by Emma Willis and comedian Eddie Kadie who was over the moon about being back a second year in a row.

The event, which took place at Camden’s Roundhouse, saw the likes of AME (who presented an award), The Risk and The Saturdays who closed the ceremony and opened the floor for the after party. (BELOW – RUBY, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF WITH THE RISK)

All round commitment to volunteering – Beth Carty (18)

Recognise efforts to bring communities together – Eliza Rebeiro (19)

Team activity – Epson Phab, Epson

Outstanding contribution to youth volunteering by a youth worker – Linda Markey (64)

Most outstanding NCS Team – The Padgate Team, Warrington

It wasn’t the most exciting of award ceremonies but it was all for a fantastic cause. Well done to all the winners and finalists alike, you all did well! icon_smile-2971264
