On the 10th of October 2013 it happened. Vogue’s Night Out in Manchester, for the first time. I was there and I’d like to tell you about it. It was amazing.
It was extreme- I would say. So many things happening all at once, so little time! I have arrived in the centre at 12pm. I have been walking around, taking some street style photos of the outfits, etc. I have stumbled across a cupcake stall and I HAD to stop. They had Louis Vuitton and Chanel cupcakes! Of course, I’ve purchased the LV one (obsessed).
After that, nothing really was happening until 6pm. DJ’s, designers, celebrities! Stop! Too much!
I have ended up staying in Harvey Nichols for about 2 hours waiting for my favourite boys of all time- Chelsea boys: Jamie Laing and Oliver Proudlock. They’re super cute and so positively ‘vibed’. You could feel all the optimism from them straight away. However, Jamie was 2 hours late and left all his fans (including myself) standing in one place for all that time. It was definitely worth it though. He’s a massive BABE.
Harvey Nichols had amazing DJs, designers to customize your VNO t-shirts, games and much more! It was insane.
Selfridges also had Jameela Jamil playing and mixing music for them, which all ended up into a massive party/rave in the end! Hugo Boss was making everything very VIP, UGG Australia had Bip Ling on the DJ-ing side and there was so much going on, you definitely couldn’t do it all at once!
Next year’s destination for VNO? I have no idea but I’m definitely going!
