The new IPhone 5S and 5C were released for pre-order today and will be available in stores as of September 20th.

According to Apple, the iPhone 5C is “beautifully, unapologetically plastic”, which to be honest does not sound that appealing.

The iPhone 5C, otherwise recognised as the “budget” version, retails at £469 while its more expensive counter-part, the 5S, will cost £709.

It has been noted that the only clear difference between the 5C and Apple’s previous release is the battery life being “marginally better”.

The 5S, however, is so far a one of a kind and boasts touch ID finger print scanning technology to unlock the phone. This feature is built into the ‘home button’ and can also be used to complete purchases from the App store.

So, iPhone lovers was it worth the wait?
