5 tips for a flat tummy this summer

Summer is here, bikinis are coming out and our bodies need to stay in shape, here are a few tips to keep out stomachs streamlined for this summer.

1. Plank
This is an amazing isometric training helps strengthen the midsection of our bodies whilst also strengthening inner core muscles that support your joints. This exercise works great for the abdominals, which enables us to have a streamline stomach. Challenge yourself with this exercise and see how far you can go.

2. Green Vegetables
Eat your greens! This has probably carried through with us since we were young but the vitality of it. The greatest benefit of greens is that it has very little carbohydrate within them, and the carbs that are included are layered with fibre. There are various ways to experiment with green vegetables so you can’t ever lose interest.

3. Herbal Tea
Herbal tea unlike other tea does not contain caffeine but still tastes great. There is an assortment of herbals tea you could try and they produce different results. It also provides cleansing properties for the body; this is great way for keeping our tummies flat in summer and if it is too hot for summer it is still enjoyable cold.

4. Nuts
Nuts are beneficial for the body despite it being high calories and fat, nevertheless the fat is monounsaturated also referred to as the “good fat”. Nuts are very high in protein and fibre which are essential in regulating weight loss. This small grain of goodness should be eaten raw to facilitate beneficial weight loss for a flatter stomach.

5. Wholegrain
If you are looking to flatten your stomach and get a toned belly swapping carbohydrates with wholegrain options are beneficial. The vitamins and nutrients provided in wholegrain such as magnesium help regulate fat metabolism, this helps burn abdominal fat much quicker.
