The transition from model to actress is one many models chose to take at one stage of their career or another, all with varied success. For every Cameron Diaz success story, there’s a crossover that never quite worked – anyone remember Cindy Crawford’s Fair Game? Nope us neither.
Well, if rumours are to be believed Cara Delevingne will currently be hoping to fall into the first camp. The model is romered to be being touted for the leading role in new British film Kids In Love.
Speculation is rife that Cara is favourite for the role in the film, said to be about a group of affluent Londoners who love nothing more than drugs and parties. However, with production still in the early stages rumoured director Preston Thompson is yet to confirm anything.
This wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen Cara on the big screen. The model made her film debut last year alongside Keira Knightly in Anna Karenina, proving her acting chops.
What’s more, her modelling career thus far proves that the camera adores her and with what seems like the whole world in the grips of Cara Delevingne fever now seems like the perfect time for Cara to make the leap to the big screen.
