It’s been announced that the stunning Naomi Campbell will get the ball rolling for LFW by opening with her Fashion For Relief show.
The organisation was put together by Naomi 10 years ago as a way to help raise funds to help those in disaster. She has helped raise money for several different causes over the years, including Hurricane Katrina. This time around she is hoping to raise awareness of the deadly disease Ebola to help educate and prevent further spread of the disease.
In the past, the likes of Kate Moss and Beyoncé have graced the catwalk. Not to mention the incredible designers who have donated pieces for the show, Balmain, Givenchy and Stella McCartney just to mention a few. If that wasn’t enough, an auction will be taking place at the end of show where brands, designers and celebrities have all made donations.
It’s so warming to see individuals using their influence for a good cause, you go Miss Campbell.
Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster from Thursday 29th January.
