For some time now, people have been asking high street brands to provide a wider range of skin tones. In recent years some of the more affordable brands still hadn’t been catering for all skin tones and complexions, so people have had to turn to the more expensive options such as MAC and Nars. However, time are changing and we are seeing lot more darker shades being incorporated into makeup collections. Sleek is one of these brands.

Sleek recently released a new darker contouring palette, as part of their cream contouring collection. The collection includes the shades ‘light’, ‘medium’, ‘dark’ and now ‘extra dark’.

The new ‘extra dark’ palette includes two highlighting shades as well as four contouring shades, to allow you to get a perfectly contoured complexion.

Sleek claims the palette includes ‘expertly developed combinations of shades, that work with your skin tone to create natural shadows and highlights.’

The smooth cream formula is ideal for blending over foundation, or on it’s own.

The palette costs £10.99 and is available from www.sleekmakeup.com or Superdrug stores.

Check out YouTuber Breeny Lee’s tutorial using the new palette.

Hopefully this is the beginning of a wider range of skin tones available in high street collections.
