Last week Shay La Rose took to the stage to debut her first mixtape at the cosy West End venue – Jet Lag Bar. The young up-coming artist had an infectious energy for the entire performance and showed potential to progress in the industry.
The talented singer/song writer wrote and performed Let Me Know, One Life and Faded (which was inspired by James Aurthor). While incorporating a ”mash-up” mix of Chris Brown’s Don’t Wake Me Up and Emeli Sande’s Heaven.
In a bid to exhibit her talent, Shay La also performed numerous covers including Rhiana’s Diamonds and Jasmine Sullivan’s Dream Big on Beyonce’s End of Time beat. One of my personal favourite was her cover of Misha B – Do You Think of Me.
