SW4 festival is sprawled across Clapham Common, inviting adults to dance the penultimate weekend of the summer away. Providing EDM, D&B and House music to the likes of Grime and Trap, this festival has a genre of music for everyone. SW4 has been running since 2013 and throughout this time has created partnerships with multiple media outlets, like Capital Xtra. It also has friendships with the best alcohol: Red Stripe, Smirnoff, Gordon’s Gin and more, a well-stocked, varied bar! What more could you ask for?
It is also very central for those living in London, and for those travelling in have a choice of four surrounding stations: Clapham Junction, Clapham Common and Clapham South.
Just some of the amazing artist to perform are Idris Elba, Stefflon Don, Tinie Tempah, Wiley, Martin Garrix, Ms Banks and Mabel. The lineup is a mix of established Pop icons, OG Drill artists and upcoming artists. SW4 is providing London with a fresh sound that concludes our summer nicely. As a Londoner, nothing could be better than a party in the city, especially in the green serenity of the Common.
To make the experience the best possible, booking a ticket for Saturday and Sunday is your best bet, with a hotel stay in-between nights. Although the area is accessible, why not stay in quirky south London, where you are amongst a diverse range of food… and people? After a long day of raving you want your bed fast, and especially and easy commute for the next day!
So, to put it into a nutshell, whether you like a slow dance or a hard skank, this festival is most probably for you. Amongst a wide a range of music, a diverse population of people with also greet you! Music from twelve till midnight? What are you waiting for!
