The Streets, the biggest youth led print and online publication aimed at the young woman, is teaming up with Breast Cancer Prevention charity Genesis; to host an Afternoon Tea event on Sunday 8th May 2016 11am – 4.30pm. The event which will raise funds and increase awareness of the breast cancer epidemic amongst young women.
The event will consist of afternoon tea for everyone, a talk about breast cancer and it’s prevention, plus pamper sessions including nails, individual lashes, massages and make up tutorials – plus more on the day!
Prevention is better than cure. Breast Cancer We Are Coming For You.

Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention
Genesis BCP is the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. * Genesis’ mission is to lead ground-breaking research into the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. Its strategy is two-fold; firstly PREDICTION – finding methods of predicting a woman’s personal risk of breast cancer; and secondly PREVENTION – researching ways of lowering women’s risk of developing cancer, in order to prevent the disease. *Genesis’ vision is to create a breast cancer free future for the next generation.
